International Success!  Dec. 11-12, 2010

The boys have officially begun their season! They started off very strong in the elite season with Adam and Bobby competing. Adam Zysk, aka Coach Adam, placed second place on vault among an international field of World and Olympic gymnasts! This is the first international medal for a male gymnast in Memphis! Bobby did a great job in his elite debut as well with good performances on all 6 events!

Following in the footsteps of Coach Adam, and with the guidance of Coach Murphy, the level 4 boys team took 3rd place team among an international field of competitors deep in the heart of gymnastics in this country! Jarren took 2nd place all-around in his very first competition! Many of the boys placed highly on each event, and every single level 4 placed in the all-around competition! Way to start strong boys!

The level 6s hit all their routines, shining on vault where Taylor Ann got her first 9 on this vault & Taylor getting a 9.475! The level 4s were awesome! Mia & Mattie both had their best meets ever! For the rest of the level 4 team, this was their year to compete and they all did really well! Congrats to all our girls!

You Go Girls!

Nearly 8 months have past since the girls' team last competed at the River City Invitational, and it's time to get going again! Our young ladies competed Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the You're The One Invitational in Gallatin, TN. This season has brought some new faces to the gym, and they handled the pressure of competing quite well! For some of the girls, it was their first time competing in a new level, so that means new skills, new routines, and new competitors! Everyone did a fantastic job, we certainly hope the girls had a blast and learned something from this first meet of the season! Let us all wish these fine young ladies success in the rest of their competitive season! Train hard girls, and go kick some butt!

Parents, if you have any pictures from this competition that you would like featured on the website, please email or bring a copy of the picture to Adam Zysk (aka Coach Adam)!

National News!

On May 4-9, 2010, Knoxville, TN hosted the 2010 Junior Olympic National Championships. Our very own Bobby Davis qualified to this competition,
and certainly had one of his most successful competitions ever! In the first day of competition, Bobby placed 64th in the All-Around out of a field of over 200 competitors! Not only did he place very well in the All-Around during the prelims, he qualified 10th place into the Still Rings event semi-finals! This is truly an amazing accomplishment, and we as a team could not be more proud of Bobby. What a great way to end the competition season, way to go Bob!
